In Jordan, schools are struggling with a number of challenges in improving student achievement (SA) in digital learning settings. This may be explained by the differences in the access to digital means and the different degrees of student readiness and teaching provision. On that note, it has become necessary to look at those factors that determine the achievement of students. The main aim of the research was to investigate whether online learning (OL), digital access (DA), study skills (SS) and teacher support (TS) have a significant impact on student achievement (SA). It also aimed to verify if learning engagement (LE) mediates the relationships among them. The information was collected using a number of students who are pursuing an educational program at one of the education institutions in Jordan through an online survey. All the responses were analysed in order to prove the hypotheses proposed and make inferences based on a structural equation modelling approach using PLS-SEM. Shows was the one that LE has a positive impact on SA. The findings also revealed that OL, DA, SS and TS positively influence LE and student achievement. Finally, the results confirmed that LE has a mediating effect among the aforementioned factors and SA. Given that there have been very few previous studies on these variables in Jordan, the present research contributes to the literature by examining their impact on student achievement with empirical data from the education sector in Jordan.Downloads
